By accessing and using MEDBOOKS AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MEDBOOKS AI provides AI-powered bookkeeping and practice management financial tools designed for Australian dental practices, medical clinics, and healthcare professionals. The Service includes receipt scanning, patient billing, health fund claim tracking, associate payroll calculations, equipment depreciation tracking, BAS preparation summaries, and AI-assisted financial insights.
MEDBOOKS AI is a financial management tool only. It does not constitute a clinical information system and does not replace AHPRA-regulated clinical governance, record-keeping, or practice management systems. Users are responsible for maintaining compliance with all relevant AHPRA requirements and national board standards.
The BAS preparation features provide financial summaries for review purposes only. MEDBOOKS AI does not:
All BAS lodgements and tax-related decisions should be reviewed by a registered BAS agent or qualified tax professional. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax obligations.
AI-powered features including receipt scanning, data extraction, and the AI Bookkeeper are provided as assistance tools. They may produce errors or inaccuracies. Users must review all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for financial decisions. Human oversight is required for all AI-generated insights and recommendations.
You warrant that you have appropriate consent to process patient billing information through the Service and that you comply with all applicable privacy legislation including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and relevant state/territory health records legislation.

All plans include a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.
You may request account deletion at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion request, your account will be deactivated immediately and all data permanently deleted within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, MEDBOOKS AI's liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
